Our Mission: To find good, loving homes for the abandoned and abused animals in our community; and to reduce the problem of pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.
5847+ Animals have been placed into new homes in the last 8 ½ years.
That’s an average of 687 pets per year – Almost 2 pets per day!
7589+ Spay/Neuter surgeries have been financed in the last 8 ½ years.

We are a volunteer, not-for-profit Georgia Corporation 501C3

The Rescue Ranch is located on 6 acres in Talking Rock and offers temporary housing for 50 dogs and 20 cats awaiting permanent adoption. We have a weekly average of 40 additional dogs & cats that are in private foster care homes awaiting adoption or temporary placement at the Rescue Ranch.

All pets are spayed/neutered and receive vaccines prior to adoption.
All dogs receive AVID microchip identification prior to adoption.

SNAP (spay/neuter assistance program) offers $25.00 coupons for Pickens County residents requiring financial assistance for their own pet’s surgery as finances permit.
